Peter Maibom

Managing Director Australia & New Zealand

Peter is the Managing Director of Ecowize Group in Australia and New Zealand. He is the head of the leadership team and serves on the Ecowize Group Board of Directors.

Establishing the Australian division of the group in 2001 and the New Zealand division in 2002, he has significant global experience across the Ecowize Group, also covering the European, South African and American markets.

Peter led the Ecowize Group in obtaining multiple SAI Global certifications. One of those in particular, the Food Safety ISO 22000, propelled the Ecowize business to be more innovative, effective, transparent and accountable. It helped shape the organisation to achieve record growth and client retention, strengthening the group’s overall leadership position in the market.

Peter joined the cleaning industry as a management trainee at the world’s largest contract cleaning company, ISS in Denmark, and progressed to operations manager. He was instrumental in obtaining 9001 certification for the Food Service Division.

Upon arriving in Australia, Peter dedicated a number of years to EcoLab in the food and beverage chemicals division, where he specialised in cleaning and sanitation chemicals for the food industry. He also worked as commercial director for Adshel, which was a member of the APN News and Media Group at the time.

Peter holds a Master of Business Administration from MGSM. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Organisation from Aarhus School of Business and A Ship Master’s Degree, Naval studies from Copenhagen College of Navigation. Peter is a member of the Ecowize Group Board of Directors and is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

DOMENIC CURCURUTO (FCPA)

Financial Controller

Domenic joined Ecowize in 2013 as head of Finance and Information Technology for Ecowize Group Australia and New Zealand.

Domenic is a member of the leadership team for Ecowize Group Australia and New Zealand, and brings more than 20 years’ experience supporting large organisations, combining his knowledge of complex business advisory to divisions of large second tier firms. He has spent many years as a financial controller for large SMEs.

Since joining Ecowize, Domenic has played a vital role in mergers and acquisitions, implementing ERP solutions and streamlining the finance department.

Domenic holds a Bachelor of Commerce, and is a member of Certified Practice Accountants Australia (CPA), a Fellow of the CPA Australia (FCPA), and a registered Tax and ASIC Agent.

Lucien Milner

General Manager Operations, Ecowize Australia

Having joined Ecowize in 2002, Lucien has been instrumental in establishing Ecowize Australia and New Zealand. He is a member of the leadership team and has been responsible for implementing internationally recognised systems, processes and training programs.

Lucien has more than 20 years’ experience in the cleaning and sanitation industry. His knowledge and expertise in operations has been a key factor in establishing strong staff and customer relationships. Lucien relocated to New Zealand in 2005 to further establish Ecowize business operations, returning to Australia in 2009. Before joining Ecowize Australia, he worked with Ecowize South Africa.

David Clarke

General Manager Business Development

David joined the Ecowize Group in 2000 in South Africa. He relocated in 2003 to the Australian division and became Technical Manager for Ecowize Australia and New Zealand. In 2010 he became General Manager Business Development.

David is a member of the leadership team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in microbiology, chemistry and haematology. His primary interests are in E.Coli, Salmonella, Shigella and Listeria Monocytogenes. David’s experience encompasses hospital laboratories, focusing on pathogenic bacteria and moulds associated with food. His industrial experience also includes environmental sustainability with a focus on hazardous substances.

David holds a Diploma in Laboratory Technology, with majors in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist Grade, from the Institute of Marketing Management, IMM South Africa.

Ross Donoghue

General Manager New Zealand

Having joined Ecowize in 2016, Ross has made significant contributions to growing the Ecowize business in the New Zealand market. He is a member of the leadership team and has over 40 years’ expertise in the wider food industry, previously holding senior roles in medium to large enterprises located in New Zealand, Australia and the Asia Pacific region. His industry knowledge and expertise has helped strengthen relationships and professionalism at all levels of the business.

Ross completed his education at Auckland University of Technology and NSW TAFE.

Jacci Kalkwarf

General Manager Masterwize

Jacci is responsible for Masterwize, part of the Ecowize Group. She is a member of the leadership team for Ecowize Group Australia and New Zealand, and is responsible for business development activity in Australia. She joined Ecowize more than 4 years ago as General Manager for Masterwize, having previously spent more than 10 years in the soft facilities management industry with international organisations.

Jacci’s experience, knowledge and understanding of the cleaning industry has been instrumental in the development and growth of Masterwize. Jacci has helped grow the business with her ability to spot opportunity and willingness to embrace and lead change in a dynamic industry. She has cross-disciplinary technical expertise in a variety of areas, including business development, operations, finance, human resources and training.

Jacci has completed a Master of Business Administration, Management College of South Africa (MANCOSA), Higher Certificate in Business Studies, Management, Management College of South Africa (MANCOSA), Electronics and Logics Technical Certificate NTC4, Johannesburg Technical College and a Certificate in Business Studies.

Simone Magas

Marketing Manager

Simone is the head of the marketing function at Ecowize Group Australia and New Zealand. She is a member of the leadership team and has more than 10 years’ experience in marketing, with 5 years in the industrial sector.

Simone has held marketing positions in environmental sustainability, information technology and mobile devices. Throughout her career Simone has shown a talent for driving business growth strategies.

Simone holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Macquarie University and a Diploma in Business Administration from Sydney Institute of Business and Technology.
