Ecowize Joins the Hutt Street Archangels in Supporting Those in Need
At Ecowize ANZ, we believe that caring for people and communities is just as important as caring for the environments we clean and protect. Recently, members of our team had the privilege of joining the incredible Hutt Street Centre Archangels in Adelaide – a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness.
Together, the Ecowize team rolled up their sleeves to help prepare and serve meals at the Hutt Street Centre, an organisation that provides vital services, nutritious food, and a welcoming place of dignity and hope for those doing it tough.
In just one morning, the combined efforts of volunteers helped to feed 87 people – each meal served with kindness, conversation, and a genuine sense of care.
A Day of Purpose and Connection
For our team members Jay Bloss and Trent Harris, the experience was both humbling and uplifting. “It was a privilege to be part of something that has such a real and immediate impact,” said Jay. “The sense of teamwork, gratitude, and human connection throughout the day was truly special.”
The Hutt Street Centre’s work extends far beyond providing meals. They offer professional support services, healthcare, education, and pathways toward independence – creating opportunities for people to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.
